Janet Harrod
Janet M. Harrod age 52 of New Bremen, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 12:04 PM at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born on January 24, 1964 in St. Marys, Ohio to Charles L. and Erline H. (Topp) Garman who survive in New Bremen.
Also surviving are her children Andy Harrod of New Bremen, Kelly (Andrew Kuck) Harrod of New Knoxville, and Shawn (Abby) Harrod of Minster, her grandchildren Madison, Harper, and Ezra Harrod, her siblings, Sandy (John) Bergman of Minster, Tim Garman, Keith (Yvonne) Garman, and Amy (Robin) Webster, all of New Bremen.
She was preceded in death by a brother John Garman.
Janet was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen, and was a graduate of New Bremen High School.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed playing cards, and watching Game Show Network - especially Family Feud.
For the past eleven years, she had worked at AAP in St. Marys as an Inspector.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen with the Rev. Robert Hadden officiating. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the services on Monday at the Church.
