* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Adrian Kaup
A proud veteran and life-long outdoorsman, Adrian A. "Doc" Kaup, 89, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died peacefully on September 24, 2016 at Celina Manor, Celina, OH.
He was born November 16, 1926, in Coldwater, OH, to the late John and Mary (Knoth) Kaup. On September 1, 1948, he married Bernice "Bernie" (Backs) Kaup, who survives. Doc and Bernie were married for 68 years.
Doc is also survived by his five children, Jean and Mike Hupka of Boulder, CO, Joan Kaup and Rick Pender of Cincinnati, OH, Jerry and Lorri Kaup of Fort Recovery, Tom and Tess Kaup of Fort Recovery and Dave and Lucy Kaup of Fort Recovery; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a sister, Irene (Mark) Hein of St. Peter, OH; two brothers, Dale (Donna) Kaup of St. Anthony, OH and Floyd (Joyce) Kaup of Celina, OH; and in-laws, Maurice and Sandy Backs of St. Joe, OH, Alice Fiely of Marion, IN, Paul and Ruth Backs of St. Joe, OH, Richard Backs of Marion, IN, Robert and Jeannie Backs of Marion, IN, and Frieda Backs of St. Marys, OH.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin (Alma) Kaup, a sister-in-law, Virginia Kaup and in-laws, Harold and Gertrude Backs, Art and Ruth Backs, Donald Backs, John Fiely and Lois Backs.
Doc was a 1944 graduate of Coldwater High School and following his graduation, he joined the Army and served in the Pacific theater during World War II. He was employed at the former New Idea, Coldwater, OH and held the post of Mercer County Animal Warden for many years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, OH and was also an active member of the American Legion Post 345, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6515, the Fort Recovery Gun Club and the Ohio Progressive Sportsman Club, all of Fort Recovery.
Doc was an able and competitive baseball player and was also an avid hunter, trapper, fisherman and card player. He instilled his love of sports, respect for nature and a strong work ethic in each of his children and many of his grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Thursday, September 29, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, with Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Wednesday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion.
