* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Evelyn Clear
Evelyn K. Clear, 104, St. Marys, OH died Sunday September 11, 2016 in Charlevoix, MI.
She was born July 8, 1912 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Fred and Nora (Bitzinger) Hilgeman. On May 30, 1937 in Portland, IN she married Robert G. Clear, who died May 24, 2004.
Survivors include: daughter Judith Cook-Colt of Charlevoix, MI son John "Jack" (Diane) Clear of Hoagland, IN; 4 grandchildren: Scott (Kathy) Cook, Suzanne (Todd) Klinger, Amie (Darin) Nicol, Jason (Heidi) Clear; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Norman Hilgeman of Coldwater, MI.
Preceded in death by: parents Fred and Nora Hilgeman; husband Robert Clear; brother Kenneth Hilgeman; brother Donald Hilgeman; son-in-law Robert Colt
She was a graduate of South Side High School (Class of 1930) and International Business College, both in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Along with her husband, Bob, she owned Clear's Shoe Store in Downtown St. Marys for many years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and close circle of friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Clear are scheduled to begin 12:00 noon Monday September 19, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church 210 N. Wayne Street in St. Marys, OH with the Rev. Bill Maki, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation is one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to either AGAPE Ministries in St. Marys or Hospice of Michigan 830 S. Otsego Ave. Gaylord, MI 49735.
