Amber Ames
Amber K. Ames, 30, of Lima, Ohio, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at her residence.
She was born August 26, 1986 in Deland, Florida, to Jerry Lee and Lena Kay (Sawmiller) Ames, Jr.
She is survived by: son Cam'ron O'Fray, Celina, Ohio; son Brylen Parker, Van Wert, Ohio; daughter Adazia Fitzgerald, Lima, Ohio; son Jy'Mani Cartwright, Celina, Ohio; father Jerry Ames, Jr., Celina, Ohio; mother Lena Kay (Sawmiller) Ames, Celina, Ohio; sister Danielle Ames, Celina, Ohio; brother Adam Roberts, St. Marys, Ohio; sister Molly Roberts, Celina, Ohio; half-sister Lisa Ann Roberts, St. Marys, Ohio; step-father Lanny Roberts, St. Marys; grandparents Mary Ames of Deltona, Florida, and Vercie Roberts of St. Marys.
Amber was preceded in death by: grandparents Jerry Ames, Sr., Jack and Janet Sawmiller, Sr., and Clyde Roberts.
She was a 2002 graduate of Coldwater High School, Coldwater, Ohio.
A homemaker, she previously worked as a waitress and bartender. Her favorite pastimes included dancing, doing hair and make-up, and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral Rites are scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, Ohio 703 West Chapel (1605 Celina Rd.) St. Marys, Ohio with Pastor Judy Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, Ohio.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 9, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the family to assist in the payment of final expenses.
