* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

The Mercer County Soil and Water Conservation office in Celina will be a dropoff site for milkweed seed pods Sept. 1 through Oct. 30. The Ohio Pollinator Habitat Initiative is partnering with Ohio's SWCDs to expand the habitat for pollinators such as honeybees and butterflies, insects vital to growing numerous crops and food. The sign at left is set up in the agriculture tent at the Mercer County Fair, which runs through Thursday.
