Emily Rempe
Emily Kaye Rempe, 14, St. Marys, OH, died 11:24 p.m. Wednesday June 8, 2016 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born December 5, 2001 in Oklahoma City, OK.
She is survived by: parents Randy and Brenda (Monfort) Rempe of St. Marys, OH; sister Erin Rempe of St. Marys, OH; brother Ethan Rempe of St. Marys, OH; paternal grandparents Tom & Gloria Rempe of Greenwood, SC; maternal grandfather Elmer (Reba) Johnson of Prestonsburg, KY; maternal grandmother Judy (John) Vulgamott of St. Marys, OH; aunts and uncles: Bev Watt, Janean (Jim) Reish, Denise Johnson, Jason Johnson, Nora (Kevin) Marsillett, Rebecca (Tom) Marsillett, Timothy (Stephanie) Johnson.
She was enrolled as an incoming sophomore at St. Marys Memorial High School, and had previously attended Grand Lake Christian School in St. Marys. She participated in the track and field program at the high school.
Emily enjoyed running track, playing the piano and hanging out with her friends. She also loved her pet dog, "Tanner."
Rites are scheduled to begin 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 14, 2016 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ 201 N. Perry Street in St. Marys, with Pastor Dale Leinbach, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in St. Marys.
Visitation 2–4 and 6–8 p.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to: St. Marys Community Foundation – Emily Rempe Scholarship Fund.
