* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Virginia Drees
Virginia R. Drees, age 96, formerly of Ft. Loramie died at 1:05 AM on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born on July 6, 1919 in Shelby County, Ohio to the late Julius R. & Theresa (Monnin) Gariety. She married Leo J. Drees on April 29, 1941 and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2002.
She is survived by children Richard & Karen Drees, Versailles, Mary Jean & Neal Pleiman, Osgood, Rosie & Bill Pierron, Versailles, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and sister-in-law Frances Gariety, Piqua.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Pleiman, sister, Thelma & Ralph Marchal, brothers, Adrian & Bernadine Gariety, Robert & Marie Gariety, Norbert Gariety & Jim Gariety, in-laws, Ed & Josephine Drees, Verona & Ray Barhorst, Helen & Ted Nurrenbrock, John & Hildrith Drees and Victor & Wilma Drees.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie and St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality. She was also a member of Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council 203, the Apostleship of Prayer as both a member and promoter, Shelby County Senior Citizens Club. She liked doing crafts and playing Scrabble.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Newport, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Minster on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
