Stephen Booher
Stephen L. Booher, age 63, of Celina, Ohio passed away at home on Monday May 16, 2016.
He was born on Mar. 12, 1953 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Robert L. & Mary Maxine (DeCoursey) Booher. On Feb. 2, 1980 Goundhog Day, he married Nancy McBride, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are his daughters Betsy Booher and John Nicodemo of Bowling Green, Kate Booher and Noah Schachter of Ft. Wright, Ky. Nephews Rob & Eva May and their children Niklas and Emma of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Tom & Jonelle May and their children Alexandra, Kinsley, Seth of Lawton, MI, his father-in-law Leland McBride of Lawton, MI.
He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Jeannie May and his brother-in-law Mike McBride.
Stephen graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1971 and received his degree at The Ohio State University. Then he attended Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 1990.
He worked in financial services for 40 years. The first, 25 years of his career were with the Community Bank. Then he became a financial Advisor. In 2012 He went to work for Wells Fargo in Lima.
He was a member of the Celina First Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and a good cigar.
A celebration of Stephen's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 21, 2016 at the Celina First Presbyterian Church in Celina, with Rev. Nan Clancy officiating.
The Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Booher Family to help with medical expenses, the Celina Presbyterian Church or the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Research Department.
