* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Randy Gutierrez
Randy L. Gutierrez, 59, of Rockford, Ohio, died at 11:15 AM Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born December 6, 1956, in Van Wert, the son of the late John and Josephine (Marez) Gutierrez.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanene (Rutledge) Gutierrez of Rockford- Children Jordan Gutierrez of Costa Mesa, CA and Cassie Gutierrez of Rockford-His wonderful Grandchildren Logan and Lucy of Rockford- Father and Mother-in-law Jack and Phyllis Rutledge of Celina- Siblings John (Paula) Gutierrez of Paulding- Diann (Jeff) Ebel of Grover Hill- Gil (Denise) Gutierrez of Van Wert- Sue Szuch of Elida- Lou (Steve) Biberstine of Ohio City- Twin Brother Ron Gutierrez of Tallahassee, FL- David (Marsha) Gutierrez of Fort Wayne, IN- Bernadine (Klayton) Hooper of Cloverdale- Mariea (Dan) Moreland of Van Wert- along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Gutierrez, Sister Theresa Gutierrez, and brother-in-law David Szuch.
Randy was a retired welder for Strick Corporation of Monroe, IN and finished his working career as an employee with the Van Wert Rural King. He also served Rockford as a member of the City Council.
Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home Friday, January 15, 2016, from 2-6 and at 6 there will be a Rosary and Funeral Service with Father Charles Obinwa officiating.
Preferred memorials are to the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center and to the Rockford Splash Pad.
