* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Mary Maurer
Mary M. Maurer, 93, of Saint Marys, died 4:30 A.M. Monday, January 4, 2016, at Otterbein Saint Marys Retirement Community.
She was born July 23, 1922, in Twelve Mile, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur "Dewey" and Bernice (Dalzell) Earl. She married Philip Maurer on October 16, 1943, in Sidney, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2007.
She is survived by her three children: Catherine (John) Green of Strongsville, Ohio; Eric Maurer of Morristown, New Jersey; Todd (Cherese Fiorina) Maurer of Solon, Ohio. She is survived by her seven grandchildren: Matthew (Jocelyn) Green; Katherine (Robert) Reed; Andrew, Olivia, Nicholas, Scott and Lindsey Maurer. She is survived by six great-grandchildren: Jade, Jesse and Victoria Green; Natalie, Colin and Jackson Reed. She is also survived by a great-great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Michaels. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Hatton; by a brother-in-law, Paul Baker; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Ely.
Mrs. Maurer was preceded in death by her parents; husband, two sons, Scott and Brent Maurer; by her siblings Freda Mae Voress and Ruth Ann Baker.
She was a graduate of Sidney High School, attended Manchester College, and graduated from Heidelberg College.
She was a very active volunteer including service on the City of Saint Marys Zoning Board and the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital Board of Governors.
She was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Saint Marys, where she served in numerous capacities, and served the wider church body through serving on the Board of United Church Homes, and as Moderator for the UCC Ohio Conference.
She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and golfing.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Saint Marys, the Reverend Dr. Ed Bray, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, where memorial gifts may be given to Fairhaven (a United Church Homes community in Upper Sandusky) Benevolence Fund; Saint Paul's UCC Elevator Fund; JTDMH Foundation or Otterbein Benevolence Fund.
