* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Janice Bowlby

Janice E. Bowlby, age 85, of Celina, passed away Wednesday evening Dec. 23, 2015 at Celina Manor.

She was born June 7, 1930 near Rockford to the late Lloyd & Zedna (Boice) Canary. Janice and Clarence A. Bowlby were married on Oct. 25, 1950, and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2005.

She is survived by their 4 Children: Deborah Hole, Don (Rhonda) Bowlby, Beverly (Steven) Stansbury and Kelly (Tami) Bowlby; a Sister: Letha Hight, a Sister-in-law: Marjorie Canary, and a Brother-in-law: Bob Weitz, all of Celina.

Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren: Travis & Trent Hole, Brent (Wendy) Hole, Kaci (John) Taylor, Felicia & Nick Cottman, Emily, Haylie, Kyler & Taryn Bowlby, Ariel Edwards and Devon Stansbury, and 10 Great Grandchildren: Jacob Hole, Abigail, Allie & Natalie Taylor, Nyah & Maddox Fitzgerald, Lexi, Brenden & Lydia Cottman and Nilah Melendez.

She was preceded in death by a Son-in-law: David Hole, a Brother & 2 Sisters: Darlene Canary, Naomi Painter and Imogene Menchhofer, Brothers-in-law: Harold Painter, Cletus Menchhofer Jr. and Elmer Hight, and a Sister-in-law: Evelyn Weitz.

A homemaker, Janice had worked at Celina Insurance Group and Huffy Bicycles. She was a 1948 graduate of Rockford High School, and a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina. Janice enjoyed gardening and collecting dolls.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, Dec. 29, at W.H. Dick & Sons Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Doug Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.

Calling hours are 2-4 & 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, Dec. 28, at the Funeral Home.
