Dorothy Brockman
Dorothy M. Brockman, age 84, Coldwater, Ohio, passed away November 25, 2015 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born May 20, 1931, in Fort Recovery, OH to the late Alfons and Alvina (Krieg) Muhlenkamp. On October 17, 1953, she married the late Lavern Brockman, who died June 3, 1999.
Surviving are her children, Sharon (Jerry) Rose of Burkettsville, OH, Gary (Janet) Brockman of Coldwater, OH, Randy (Corienne) Brockman of St. Henry, OH, Brenda (Roger) Kaiser of Coldwater, OH, Beth (Dutch) Thobe of Fort Recovery, Mark (Cathy) Brockman of Fort Recovery, and Jan (Steve) Schoen of Fort Recovery; 28 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; siblings, Lorrie (Charlie) Froning of St. Henry, OH, Lucy (Don) Beckstedt of Celina, OH, Dale Muhlenkamp of Tustin, CA, Mark (Joan) Muhlenkamp of Coldwater, OH, Roger (Donna) Muhlenkamp of Flagstaff, AZ, Ron (Carol) Muhlenkamp of Coldwater, OH, and Carol (Dale) Laux of Celina, OH; sisters-in-law, Sue Muhlenkamp of Coldwater, OH and Sally Muhlenkamp of Coldwater, OH; and in-law, Mary Jane Siefring of St. Henry, OH.
She was also preceded in death by two great grandchildren; siblings, Robert Muhlenkamp, Richard Muhlenkamp, and Jean (Ivo) Bruns; sister-in-law, Gayle Muhlenkamp; and in-laws, Sylvan (Theresa) Brockman, Harold Brockman, and LeRoy Siefring.
Dorothy was a 1949 graduate of Coldwater High School, was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, OH, and its Christian Mother's Sodality.
She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, November 30, 2015 at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
Calling is 1:00 pm-6:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
