* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Henrietta Thobe
Henrietta A. Thobe age 91, formerly of New Bremen and a resident of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 7:10 A.M. at her residence in Coldwater.
She was born on September 30, 1924 near St. Patrick in Shelby County, OH. She was the daughter of Henry and Louise (Romie) Varno. On September 30, 1944 she married Victor H. Thobe who died on June 15, 1999.
Survivors include her children; Beverly Sealscot of St. Marys, Jack (Donna) Thobe of New Bremen, Linda Gross of Coldwater, Edward (Brenda) Thobe of New Bremen, Mary (Doug) Hemsworth of Sidney, Gery (Carla) Thobe of Coldwater and daughter-in-law Judy (Steve) Borges of Minster. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, her sister Angela Raterman of Anna, her in-laws; Alice Varno of Sidney, Fredonia Varno of Sidney, Wilbur Thobe of Maria Stein, Cyril and Martha Thobe of Chickasaw and Irene and Bernard Berning of Versailles.
Preceding her in death was her son Robert Thobe, her son-in-laws Alan Sealscot and Dennis Gross and her siblings Rosella Eilerman, Leonard Varno and LaVerne Varno.
Henrietta was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time on Facebook. She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Wint's Restaurant in New Bremen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen with the Rev. Robert Hadden officiating. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen.
Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, and from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the church, at which time the Rosary will be prayed.
The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the State of the Heart Hospice.
