* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Gloria Goodwin
Gloria Goodwin age 84 of New Bremen, OH, died on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 12:37 A.M. at the Heritage Center, Minster, OH.
She was born on November 5, 1929 in Dayton, OH. She was the daughter of the late Willis F. and Leta C. (Bertke) Quellhorst. She had been married to the late Leonard Goodwin.
Survivors include her children; Bradley and Jeannine (Jung) Goodwin of St. Marys, David and Teresa (McCullough) Goodwin of New Bremen, Kimberly Egbert of New Bremen, Kevin and Tracy (Eyink) Goodwin of Troy and Thomas Goodwin of Minster, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Lowell (Betty) Quellhorst, Joyce (John) Gilberg and Stanley Quellhorst, all of New Bremen.
Preceding her in death was her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and William Boyd and her sister-in-law Rosann (Stueve) Quellhorst.
Gloria was an active member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, especially with the Women's Guild and Choir. She was a 1948 graduate of New Bremen High School.
Gloria held various jobs over the years. She was a beautician, worked as a nurses aide, waitressed at Wint's Restaurant, assembly at Crown Controls Corp., was a clerk at the former Garman's Dry Goods, all in New Bremen and went on to assist others in their homes.
She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, dominos and canasta. She enjoyed collecting all kinds of things, from stamps and coins to dolls and unicorns. She enjoyed her family, spending time with her grandchildren and was a very generous, patient and caring person.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen with Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 until 7 P.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church.
The family requests the contributions be made to the church window restoration fund.
