LaRae Dorsten
LaRae Marie Dorsten, 23, formerly of Celina, OH died Sunday October 11, 2015 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL.
She was born January 29, 1992 in St. Marys, OH to Terry "Beanie" and Heather (Branson) Dorsten. Her father preceded her in death.
Survivors include: mother Heather (Robert Kennedy) Dorsten of Celina, OH; sister Paige Dorsten of West Palm Beach, FL; brother Aric Gallimore of Celina, OH; grandparents: Ronald "Bud" and Millie Dorsten of Wapakoneta, OH; Joe Branson of Sebring, FL; Janice (Steve) Miller of Wapakoneta, OH; step-grandmother Theresa Branson of Celina, OH; special aunt Carla (Michael) Yudhishthu; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was a graduate of Celina Sr. High School (Class of 2010). An accomplished athlete for the "Bulldogs," she earned 10 varsity letters. She achieved all-league status in swimming, track and cross-country and all-state in swimming.
She was currently employed as a waitress for Red Robin Restaurant.
Her favorite pastimes included swimming, running, reading and listening to music.
LaRae will be remembered for her infectious laughter and radiant smile. She was passionate in her desire to help those in the addiction recovery community.
Rites are scheduled to begin 1:30 p.m. Sunday October 18, 2015 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, OH, with the Rev. Matt Reynolds, officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 1 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a fund established for her brother's education.
