* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

David Schmiesing
David Schmiesing age 68 of Minster, Ohio died Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 3:45 AM at Cleveland Clinic.
He was born on September 2, 1947 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Melvin & Pauline (Bender) Schmiesing. He married Marcile Homan on August 26, 1977 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. She survives in Minster.
He is also survived by sons Brian & Kevin, both of Minster, brothers & sisters Jane Guthrie, Dayton, Gary & Cindy Schmiesing, Portland, IN, Karen & Dale Topp, Anna, Mary & Thomas Jutte, Celina, Edna & Donald Kremer, Chickasaw, in-laws, Hubert & Jean Homan, Coldwater, Georgene & Dan Post, Ft. Recovery, Helene & Steve Eilerman, New Bremen, Roslyn Bruns, Dublin, & Germaine Homan, Minster.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Marcile's parents Al & Irene Homan.
Dave was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Knights of Columbus & F.O.E. #1391 of Minster. He was a 1965 graduate of Minster High School and of DeVry Institute as an Electrical Technician.
He worked for Westinghouse in Baltimore until he came home and worked in the trucking business with his father and became owner and operator of Schmiesing Trucking. He enjoyed spending time with family, bowling, fishing and playing Euchre.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 17, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Thursday, September 17, 2015.
