Dorothy Wilker
Dorothy M. Wilker, age 93, of Celina, died on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born July 27, 1922 in St. Henry to the late Peter & Emma (Behrens) Studer. On April 23, 1941, she married Sylvester Wilker, who died May 21, 2002.
She is survived by five children, Marvin 'Buck' Wilker of Celina, Jean & Don Adams of Coldwater, Connie Heffner of Van Wert, Roger 'Short' & Judy Wilker of Celina and Barb & Mike Spriggs of Coldwater, 14 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, a sister, Wilma Wynk of Osgood, and in-laws, Jeanette Studer of Dayton and Clara Ann Wilker of Coldwater.
She is preceded in death by her step-mother, Josephine (Bertke) Studer, daughters-in-law, Pam Wilker and Verla McMurray-Wilker, son-in-law, Skip Heffner, brothers and sister, Raymond & Ruth Studer, Edward Studer, Paul & Marie Studer and Helen Studer and in-laws, Lester Bergman, Lester Wynk, Ray & Julianna Wilker, Loretta Conners, Clete Wilker, Edna & Charles Shunk, Ethel & Leroy Klosterman and Mary Ann & Adolph Dorsten.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma, the Christian Mothers, and enjoyed flowers, playing cards and bingo, crocheting and quilting. She worked at the former Buckeye Apparel, Coldwater and retired from Goodyear, St. Marys after 26 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma.
Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
