Robert "Bob" Adams, 79, Celina, OH, passed away on July 29, 2015, at 12:45 P.M., at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born October 22, 1935 in Celina, OH, to Carl and Edna (Glass) Adams; both preceded him in death. He married Susan (Stucke) Wendel on February 28, 2015; she survives at the residence.

Survivors also include four sons, Steve (Jan) Adams, Coldwater, Scott (Lori) Adams, Celina, Andy (Becca) Rohr, Clarksville, TN, and Rick (Dianna) Rohr, St. Marys; three daughters, Lisa (Joe) Roth, Celina, Deb (Curt) Shellabarger, Celina, and Kim (Steve) Waterman, Celina; a brother, Mike Adams, Celina; a mother-in-law, Alvera Stucke, Coldwater; three stepchildren, Michelle (Gordon) Self, Celina, Jill (Bob McNew) Wendel, Celina, and Kyle Wendel, Coldwater; two sister-in-laws, Pat (Jerry) Watercutter, Cranberry Prairie, OH, and Ann Stucke, Minster, OH; seven brother-in-laws, Dick (Fran) Stucke, St. Henry, Ron (Carolyn) Stucke, Cassella, OH, Nick (Bonnie) Stucke, Mason, OH, John (Cindy) Stucke, Chickasaw, OH, Dale (Phyllis), Stucke, Ashburn, VA, Lavern (Sue) Stucke, St. Marys, and Jim (Pam) Stucke, St. Rose, OH; 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia (Slemmons) Adams on April 22, 2014; they were together for 42 years; and a brother-in-law, Del Stucke.

Bob was a 1953 graduate of Celina Senior High School. He retired from Brodbecks Supermarket after 30 plus years of ownership.

Bob had many hobbies but he especially enjoyed boating, traveling in the US states in his motor home, bowling, fishing, and later in life he began golfing, claiming two hole in ones.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, Celina VFW Post 5713, Celina American Legion Post 210, Celina Moose, and Celina Eagles.

Visitation hours will be from 1 – 8 P.M., Friday, July 31, 2015 in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.

Private funeral service will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday in St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, with Dr. Rev. Jeff Gramza, officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, OH.
