Pauline Donovan
Pauline H. Donovan, 95, a resident of Otterbein Saint Marys Retirement Community, died 10:35 P.M. Friday, July 24, 2015, at Otterbein Saint Marys.
She was born June 14, 1920, in Mercer County, Ohio, the daughter of Fred and Mat Hilda (Heymeier) Rasawehr. She married Charles Donovan on April 16, 1938, in Portland, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on March 27, 1999.
She is survived by her children: Don (Johanna) Donovan of South Lebanon, Ohio; Wanda (Jonny) Dicke of Celina; Dennis (Lisa) Donovan of Saint Marys. She is survived by her 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two daughters-in-law: Beverly Donovan of Celina and Anne Donovan of Celina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her sons Harold Donovan and Glenn Donovan; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Donovan; her siblings Ernie Rasawehr, John Rasawehr, Mildred Heindel and Lena Searight.
Pauline attended school in Mercer County and retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Saint Marys. She was a farmwife who enjoyed cooking and baking. The love of her life was her grandchildren, and she was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Saint Marys.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 31, 2015, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, Saint Marys.
Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to either Saint Paul's United Church of Christ or Grand Lake Hospice.
