Catherine Steinbrunner
Catherine A. Steinbrunner, 95, of St. Joe, Ohio, died at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at her residence.
She was born June 22, 1920, in St. Joe, Ohio to the late Leo & Frances (Schuh) Fullenkamp. She married Clarence Steinbrunner on November 23, 1944, and he passed away December 9, 1996.
Surviving are two sons and their wives, Joe & Ruth Steinbrunner of Phoenix, Arizona and John & Lucy Steinbrunner of Coldwater; three daughters and their husbands, Jane & Rick Round of Englewood, Janet & David Wenning of St. Henry and Joyce Steinbrunner of St. Joe; a sister, Frances Rowley of Huber Heights; two sisters-in-law, Connie Fullenkamp of Montezuma and Mary Kay Fullenkamp of Plant City, Florida; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Judith Steinbrunner; great-granddaughter, Kathryn Steinbrunner; five brothers, Gregory Fullenkamp, Fr. Leo Fullenkamp, Aloys Fullenkamp, Bernard 'Ivo' Fullenkamp and Edward & Janice Fullenkamp; four sisters, Sr. Mary Rita Fullenkamp, Sr. Leona Fullenkamp, Clara Fullenkamp and Victoria & Paul Carney; and a brother-in-law, John Rowley, Jr.
Catherine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, and the Altar Rosary Sodality of the church. She was a homemaker and had worked at Buckeye Overall Apparel, Coldwater until she married.
A memorial mass was held today, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Fr. Ned Brown, officiating.
Friends were welcome to visit the family at Sanderall Hall, St. Joe after the mass today. There was no viewing as she has donated her body to science.
Catherine requested that donations be given for masses or to State of the Heart Hospice. The family requests no flowers or gifts.
