Margaret Weadock
Margaret L. Weadock, 97, formerly of St. Marys, OH died 3:15 a.m. Saturday June 27, 2015 at Miller House in Celina, OH.
She was born October 27, 1917 in Noble Twp., Auglaize Co., OH to Herman H. and W. C. Amanda (Wierwille) Haberkamp. On May 7, 1938 at St. Paul's Evangelical & Reformed Church in St. Marys, she married John Clark Weadock, who died January 18, 1994.
Survivors include: son Roger (Marcia) Weadock of Ft.Wayne, IN; son Neal (Dee) Weadock of St. Marys, OH; daughter Susan (Kenneth) Braun of St. Marys, OH; daughter-in-law Susan Weadock of St. Marys, OH; daughter-in-law Carol Weadock of St. Marys, OH; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; Brother Paul (Evelyn) Haberkamp of Woodhaven, MI.
Preceded in death by: parents Herman and Amanda Haberkamp; husband John C. Weadock; son Gene Weadock; son Clark Weadock; brother Wilfred Haberkamp; brother Earl Haberkamp; brother Vernon Haberkamp.
As a young girl, she attended the Four-Mile School in Noble Twp., and was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1935).
She retired from JTDM Hospital in St. Marys, where she worked in the dietary department.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and its women's guild. Through the years, she served as a Sunday School teacher, elder and choir member at the church.
Her favorite pastimes included crocheting, playing cards, baking cookies, reading, traveling and eating Esther Price Chocolate candies.
Rites are scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. Thursday July 2, 2015 at Miller–Long & Folk Funeral Home (314 W. High Street Chapel) in St. Marys. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, in St. Marys.
Visitation 4 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home on High Street.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice.
