* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Dorothy Timmons
Dorothy Timmons age 94, a Portland resident passed away Wednesday at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
She was born in Portland January 6, 1921 the daughter of Lethal and Myrtle (Spitzer) McClung. She was married May 23, 1942 to Ross Timmons and he died September 30, 2013.
She was retired as an office manager for Indiana and Michigan Electric Company. She was a member of Gamma Nu Sorority, Portland Moose Lodge, Portland Elks Lodge, Portland Lions Club, Church of the Bretheren, active in the local mental health organization and volunteered over 19000 hours with Jay County Hospital Aux.
Surviving are one son Michael E. Timmons of Clermont, FL. and one daughter Mrs. Michael (Nancy) Green of Ft. Recovery, Four grandchildren and Seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin McClung presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
