Elmer Dorsten
Elmer G. Dorsten, age 91, of Coldwater, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at Otterbein, St. Marys.
He was born May 5, 1924 in Chickasaw to the late Henry & Elizabeth (Grieshop) Dorsten. On August 4, 1945, he married Laura M. (Borgerding), and she died February 9, 1997.
He is survived by four children, Judy & John Luthman of St. Marys, Fred & Linda Dorsten of St. Marys, Phyllis & Paul Hanna of Celina and James Dorsten of Celina, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a sister, Alvina & Jerome Miller of Coldwater and a brother-in-law, Oscar Borgerding of St. Henry.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Dorsten and a sister, Edna Borgerding.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Coldwater Kiwanis Club, Coldwater American Legion and was a lifetime member of the 80th Div. Veteran Association and Coldwater VFW.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 24 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial will be at a later time.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00-4:00 PM on Sunday.
