* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Stanley Ahlers
Stanley A. Ahlers, 93, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died April 29, 2015 at The Gardens at St. Henry, St. Henry, Ohio.
He was born May 3, 1921, in St. Henry, OH, to the late William and Regina (Ebbing) Ahlers. On May 3, 1947, he married Viola (Wendel) Ahlers, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Dan (Verna) Ahlers of Coldwater, OH, Bill (Deb) Ahlers of West Carrollton, OH, Bob (Peg) Ahlers of Vandalia, OH, and Steve (Cindy) Ahlers of Vandalia, OH; two daughters, Elaine (Rex) Harris of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Denise Long of Vandalia, OH; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Dennis Ahlers, a grand daughter, Jackie Ahlers, a sister, Mary Lou Osterholt, two brothers, Bart Ahlers and Paul Ahlers, and a son-in-law, John Long.
He retired from the former New Idea, Coldwater, OH and was also a farmer. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter, OH and the Holy Name Society of the church. He also belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council 1991, Coldwater, Ohio. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, St. Peter, Ohio.
Calling is 1:00-7:00 pm Sunday and 9:00-10:00 am Monday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
