Head-on crash

Rescuers this morning surround a heavily damaged car that collided head-on with a semitrailer on U.S. 33, east of U.S. 127, about 9:30 a.m. At least one person was injured and taken by squad from the scene. Emergency crews initially reported an entrapment and placed a LifeFlight helicopter on standby. No further information was available at press time.
