Helen Hemmelgarn
Helen M. Hemmelgarn age 88, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 12:15 A.M. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Village Green Healthcare Center in Greenville.
Helen was born July 28, 1926 in Shelby County to the late Clifford C. & Marie F. (Francis) Barga.
Helen is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Mary Ann & John F. Simon of Bradford and Rita Marie & Gregg Henschen of Findlay; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Helen was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ernest A. "Ernie" Hemmelgarn on January 14, 2014 whom she married February 1, 1947; and a brother, Delbert Barga.
Helen was a retired hair stylist. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. James Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. and Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
Memorial contributions may be given for Masses.
