* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thelma Bruns
Thelma M. Bruns, age 88, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born December 22, 1926 in Maria Stein to the late Rudolph J. & Lena (Wint) Bertke. On April 27, 1946 she married Wilbert W. Bruns and he died December 7, 2012.
She is survived by seven children, Donna Gilmore & Jim Livingston of Coldwater, Dave & Jill Bruns of Coldwater, Dale & Deb Bruns of Coldwater, Dodie & Jerry Bruggeman of St. Henry, Denise & Dan Brackman of Coldwater, Don & Beth Bruns of Coldwater and Dan & Kim Bruns of Coldwater, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law Mary Alice Bertke.
She is preceded in death by a son-in-law Jack Gilmore, a great-grandson Owen Roessner and siblings Dennis & Ruth Bertke, Leroy Bertke, Earl Bertke, Ralph & Ellen Bertke and Alice & Alvin Bruggeman.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality of the church and the Knights of St. John Auxiliary, Maria Stein. She worked as a cook for Coldwater Schools and was secretary for the Home Service Station in Coldwater.
Thelma was dedicated to following the activities of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren throughout the years and was much loved by all of them for that.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 pm Friday and 9 to 10 am Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater.
Memorials may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice.
