* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thelma Milligan
Thelma L. Milligan, 82, Geneva, Ind., passed away at 5:04 p.m. Feb. 28, 2015, at Swiss Village, Berne, Ind.
She was born May 13, 1932, in Jay County, Ind., to Fred L. and Lola I. (Hudson) Longnecker, who are deceased. She married Raymond K. Milligan on June 28, 1953, in Jay County, Ind., and he passed away on Dec. 25, 2012.
Surviving are sisters, Betty I. Myers, Celina, and Patsy S. Laux, Janet D. Stewart and Rita L. Patterson, all of Portland, Ind.
Also deceased are a daughter, Cynthia L. Milligan, and sisters, Norma J. Mathys and Carolyn I. King.
Mrs. Milligan was a graduate of Bryant High School. She then graduated from the Fort Wayne Beauty School. She was the owner and operator of Ideal Beauty Shop, Geneva, for many years. Mrs. Milligan formerly worked at the Adams Public Library, Geneva, was a Brownie leader for 10 years, former president of the Geneva Republican Party, served on the Board of Geneva Festival Committee and was involved with Care and Share in Geneva. Mrs. Milligan attended the West Missionary Church in Berne.
A service to celebrate Thelma's life is 11 a.m. Friday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva, Pastor Larry Eads officiating. Interment will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bryant.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
