* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Marjorie Schmidt
Marjorie Ann (Liette) Schmidt, 81, formerly of Anna, passed away of natural causes the evening of Feb. 17, 2015, at Elmwood Assisted Living, New Bremen.
She was born April 4, 1933, in North Star, to the late Frank and Lydia (Borches) Liette. On Feb. 3, 1951, at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, she married Louis "Joe" Schmidt, who died May 14, 2011.
Surviving are five children, Toni and Mark Stephenson, Sidney, Kurt and Marsha Schmidt, Anna, Christopher and Jackie Schmidt, The Villages, Fla., Carla and Bob Minnich, New Bremen, and Scot and Missy Schmidt, Swanders; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kate Dues, St. Henry, and Charlene and Paul Pearson, Fort Recovery; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan and Jean Schmidt, Hamilton, Julie Rehmert, Celina, Raymond Schmidt, Mineral Wells, Texas, Fr. Les Schmidt, Big Stone Gap, Va., Ben Schmidt, Mendon, Rose and Joe Darby, West Union, Evan and Janice Schmidt, Geneva, Ind., Margaret Rammel, West Union, Karen and Walter Steinbrunner, West Union, Mary and Tom Gall, Cincinnati, Arlene Weaver, Cincinnati, and Mary Liette, Burkettsville.
Also deceased are two children, Theresa and Max Schmidt; 10 siblings, Emerita and Andy Greer, Dorothy Schafer, Clarence and Clarine, Wilfred and Ruth, Norbert and Sally, Hubert Liette, Rose and Leon Hein, Catherine and Cyril Dues, Loretta and Robert Stammen, and infant Franklin Liette; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Eunice and Betty Schmidt, Carl Rehmert, Ivo Rammel and Mike Weaver.
She was a devoted homemaker. She also had been co-owner and operator of Anna Foods IGA with her husband during the 1980s. She attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville and had been a past member of the Avion Camper Club.
Her retirement years with her husband were fortified with RV camping excursions across the continental U.S. One journey led them to an apartment in Deming, N.M, where they settled for six years.
She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting afghans, refinishing furniture and creating prize-winning pottery.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie, Fr. John Tonkin and Fr. Les Schmidt presiding. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pearl Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Friday and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Wilson Hospice Care, Elmwood Activities Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
