* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jeffrey Platt
Jeffrey P. Platt, 45, St. Marys, died at 5:33 a.m. Feb. 16, 2015, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, after a long battle with leukemia.
He was born Aug. 20, 1969, in Findlay, the son of John and J. Jane (Bevrly) Platt. His father, John (Sue) Platt, survives in Arlington. On May 21, 1988, he married Holly Burd at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Stephanie Platt, Goose Creek, S.C., Zachary Platt, St. Marys, Emily (Logan Erb) Platt, Wapakoneta, Bradley Platt, St. Marys; a granddaughter, Hope Erb; siblings, Joe Platt, Columbus, and Suzy (Jim) Heistan, St. Marys; and a stepfather, Jim Leugers, Minster.
He was a 1987 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was one of the first 20 employees at Setex in St. Marys, and later worked at Stamco and the Minster Machine Company. He loved the OSU Buckeyes and the San Diego Chargers and Padres. He enjoyed taking long drives and will be remembered as a very friendly, fun guy.
A gathering of family and friends is 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys.
Memorials may be given to the Auglaize County Relay For Life.
