CELINA - Celina City Schools Board of Education members are starting to plan for future building needs.
Board members Thursday began reviewing the qualifications of four architecture firms that want to develop a plan for improving or replacing the district's school buildings. Superintendent Jesse Steiner said he contacted Lesko Architecture, Buehrer Group, Fanning Howey and Garmann Miller and Associates for their qualifications to assess the buildings. [More]

SIDNEY - A $200,000 bond has been set for a St. Marys man charged with involuntary manslaughter and aggravated arson in connection with a fire that killed one man and injured a dozen other people.
CELINA - A St. Marys man on Wednesday pleaded not guilty to charges alleging he left his 2-year-old son alone in a truck with weapons and drugs in October.
NEW KNOXVILLE - A critical intentional foul on Minster was pivotal in New Knoxville's last-second Midwest Athletic Conference girls basketball victory Thursday night at New Knoxville as senior Meg Reineke hit a jumper in the lane with 3.2 seconds left to lift the Rangers to a 40-38 victory.
ST. HENRY - Coldwater defeated St. Henry 50-36 when the teams met less than two weeks ago in the OVISCO Classic consolation game.
In that meeting, Coldwater jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the first quarter by forcing several turnovers and then held on in the second half.
