* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Irene Goettemoeller
Irene M. Goettemoeller, 75, Maria Stein, died Nov. 29, 2014, at her home.
She was born April 10, 1939, in Willowdell, to Albert and Bernadine Fortkamp Mueller. On May 28, 1960, in St. Rose, she married Thomas M. Goettemoeller, who survives in Maria Stein.
Also surviving are three children, Tim (Lisa) Goettemoeller, Maria Stein, Lori (Roger) Edsinger, Columbus, and Sherri (Craig) Reed, Versailles; seven grandchildren, Kellen, Jacy, Danielle, Eric, Jacob, Baleigh and Conner; three siblings, Dick (Ann) Mueller, New Bremen, JoAnn (Ben) Stueve, Minster, and Ed (Mary) Mueller, Grifton, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Thelma Mueller, Coldwater; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Doris Goettemoeller, Versailles, Bob (Bernice) Goettemoeller, Columbus, Jim (Carole) Goettemoeller, Denton, Mont., Jack (Betty) Goettemoeller, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dale (Agnes) Goettemoeller, Maria Stein.
Deceased are a grandson, Jordan Goettemoeller; a brother, John Mueller; and a brother-in-law, Bill Goettemoeller.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Maria Stein, and the Ladies Sodality of the church. Her biggest joy was her children and grandchildren.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose Catholic Church, Maria Stein, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow at St. Rose Cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
