Terina John
Terina John, 71, Celina, died at 1:40 p.m. Oct. 16, 2014, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born April 4, 1943, in Jaluit, Marshall Islands, to Moses Libuke and Minnie Enos Moses. On Feb. 14, 1961, she married Daniel John, who died in 2005.
Surviving are a son, Francis (Sadako) John, Celina, two daughters, Irena John, Eyebye, Marshall Islands, and Angela (Eugene) Babauta, Houston, Texas; 10 grandchildren; four sisters, Neibar Mwekto, Sacramento, Calif., Neimos Bien of Korea, Emjar Ninjine of the Marshall Islands, and Hatty Tarkwon of the Marshall Islands; and two brothers, Andrew Moses, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Mises Moses, Coravallis, Ore.
Also deceased is a brother, Jamikij Moses.
She was a homemaker and an accomplished seamstress. She sewed clothing for many special occasions. She was a friendly and outgoing individual who enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
A traditional Marshallese funeral rite is 10 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, west chapel, St. Marys. Burial will follow at Buck Cemetery in rural Celina.
Calling is 2–8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
