* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Paul Schott
Paul F. Schott, 91, New Bremen, died at 5 p.m. Oct. 17, 2014, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born Nov. 5, 1922, in Chattanooga, to Frederick W. and Wilhelmina Emerick Schott. On Nov. 8, 1949, he married June Nolan, who survives in New Bremen.
Also surviving are four children, Jennifer (William) Wheaton, Norton Shores, Mich., Peggy (Michael) Hurick, Brunswick, Md., Pamela (William) Hartman, Grafton, Va., and Randy (Cindy) Schott, Long Beach, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, a sister, Irene Heron, St. Henry; and a brother, Dale (Mary) Schott, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Deceased are eight brothers and sisters.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys and a 1941 graduate of Willshire High School. He was a member of American Legion Post 241, New Bremen.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving under General George Patton in the 3rd Army, 7th Armor, 203rd Anti-Aircraft Division. He was a recipient of five Bronze Stars, having participated in 19 major battles from Normandy to the Balkans, including the second wave at Normandy, Battle of the Bulge and the Bridge at Remagen.
He retired in 1985 from Goodyear, St. Marys, after 43 years of service.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow at the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen, with full military honors by American Legion Post 241.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Operation Honor Flight.
