* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ronald Smith
Ronald Smith, 85, Neptune, died at 8:10 a.m. Oct. 6, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born Jan. 14, 1929, in Hopewell Township, to Raymond and Ocie Wurster Smith. On July 8, 1950, he married Nora Lee Snavely, who died Dec. 9, 2012.
Surviving are a daughter, Beth Ann (Kelly) Hoffman, Celina; a daughter-in-law, Donna Smith, Celina; two sisters, Wilma Houts, Celina, and Na-omi Counterman, Rockford; four grandchildren, Melissa (Jeremy) Parrish, Hannah (fiance James Carr) Smith, Jeremy Smith and Cameron Hoffman; and two great-grandchildren, Madelyn Parrish and Andrew Parrish.
Deceased is a son, Dale Smith.
He retired from General Telephone in 1988 after 43 years of service. He was a member of Grace Missionary Church, Celina, and a longtime member of the Mercer County Sportsman Association. He loved fishing, refinishing furniture and caning chairs.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Head officiating. Burial will follow at Neptune Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
