LeRoy Smith
LeRoy Edward "Smitty" Smith Jr., 64, Lima, died at 5:25 p.m., Sept. 13, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 22, 1950, in Lima, to LeRoy E. Sr. and Maxine Smith.
Surviving are his fiancée, Connie J. Luchini, Lima; two sons, Stephen Smith, Lima, and Ricky Luchini, Lima; two stepdaughters, Amy Luchini, Lima, and Heather Luchini, Texas; six grandchildren, Dillion Smith, Preston Smith and Sophia Luchini, all of Lima, Paul Cervantes, Jacob Zamora and Ava Zamora, all of Texas; lifelong friends, Doug Eshelman, Celina, Mike Butler, Lima, and Mike Goldman, Cincinnati; and his spoiled beloved dogs, Rosie and Buddy.
After retiring as a service advisor from Sears Department Store, he sold cars for Lima Auto Mall. He enjoyed following football games, always picking and betting on the winner; watching "Two and a Half Men"; and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Private services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
