Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Patricia DeMange
Patricia (Monnin) DeMange, 85, Russia, died at 2:50 a.m. Sept. 4, 2014, at her home.
She was born Oct. 25, 1928, in Russia, to Marcellus and Veronica Barhorst Monnin. On Oct. 12, 1948, she married Norbert F. DeMange, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are sons, Jim (Donna) DeMange, Versailles, Joe (Alice) DeMange, Russia, and Guy (Angela) DeMange, Yorkshire; daughters, Jane (Marvin) Pierron and Mary (Bob) Miller, all of Versailles, Denise (August) Otte, Covington, and Dorothy (Mike) Litmer, Fort Recovery; brothers, Jerry (Lurene) Monnin and Denis (Georgie) Monnin, all of Versailles, and Tom (Linda) Monnin, Russia; a sister, Sister Carmelita Monnin C.PP.S, Chile; in-laws, Carl Barlage, Russia, Lawrence (Mary Lou) DeMange, Sidney, Joann Large, Houston, and Delores (Lester) Beisner, Greenville; 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Rita Barlage; in-laws, Leslie Large, Rita DeMange and Mary Catherine (John) Gephart; and a great-grandchild, Jacob Pierron.
She had worked at IGA stores in Russia and Versailles. She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, where she taught CCD classes for many years. She loved going to The Gathering Place in Russia and made quilted lap robes for Right to Life, FISH, Veterans Hospital and veterans in the Russia area. She made noodles, angel food cakes and gallons of applesauce for area soup kitchens.
Due to construction at St. Remy Church, the funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, the Revs. Jim Simons, David Vincent and Gene Vonderhaar officiating. Burial will follow at St. Remy Cemetery, Russia.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
