* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

William Poeppelman
William "Bill" Poeppelman, 91, Minster, died at 10:10 p.m. July 25, 2014, at Elmwood of New Bremen.
He was born May 7, 1923, in Minster, to Bernard "Ben" and Mary Schelhaus Poeppelman. On June 27, 1947, in Minster, he married Martha A. Knostman, who died Feb. 19, 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Mark (Teresa Boerger) Poeppelman, Springboro, and Craig (Gail Stueve) Poeppelman, Louisville, Ky.; a son-in-law, Nelson Barhorst, Fort Loramie; seven grandchildren, Stacie Barhorst, Brandon (Shana) Barhorst, Kelly (Josh) Schaefer, Corrine (Dr. James) Hamilton, Allyson Poeppelman, Matt (Beth) Poeppelman and Kate (Stephen) Childs; five great-grandchildren, Kai and Lorelei Schaefer, Will Barhorst, Lincoln Hamilton and Aiden Poeppelman; and caregiver, Mary Jane DeLoye.
Also deceased are a daughter, Ann Barhorst; a sister, Laura Poeppelman; and a brother Ralph (Marie) Poeppelman.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, a retired Minster police chief and a foreman at Autokraft Box Corp. He also was co-founder of Western Ohio Little League and served as a coach.
Mass of Christian Burial is 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
