* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Lake Festival fireworks

The opening day of the annual Celina Lake Festival was capped off with a fireworks display over Grand Lake on Friday. Today's highlights include a 5K run at 8 a.m., car show on Main Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the parade at 6:30 p.m. Sunday's events include a volleyball tournament at 9:30 a.m. at Mercelina Park and the children's fishing derby at Lake Shore Park at 11:30 a.m.
