Nadine Sanders
Nadine Sanders, 66, St. Marys, died at 12:38 p.m. June 6, 2014, at IU-Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Ind.
She was born Feb. 29, 1948, in Martin, Ky., to Aaron Tuttle and Elizabeth "Betty" Hicks Tuttle Settles. On Nov. 21, 1985, she married Ralph E. Sanders in St. Marys, and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, Christopher Yocum, Defiance; a daughter, Angela Yocum, St. Marys; two grandsons, Zayne Yocum and Xander Eldridge; her mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Settles, Allen, Ky.; brothers, Donald (Joan) Tuttle, Hendersonville, N.C., Eugene (Ruthie) Tuttle, St. Marys, and Doug Tuttle, Ashville, N.C.; and another sister in Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Aaron and Roma Tuttle, and a sister, Pamela Faye Hall.
She was a graduate of Wayland, Ky., high school and Mayo Business College, Paintsville, Ky. She was a homemaker and licensed insurance agent. She enjoyed boating and spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Ky. Graveside services and burial will follow at Davis Memorial Gardens in Ivel, Ky.
