* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ralph Enneking
Ralph J. Enneking, 77, New Bremen, died at 10:29 p.m. May 25, 2014, at his residence.
He was born March 2, 1937, in Minster, to John and Edna (Schmiesing) Enneking. On Sept. 17, 1960, he married Doris Meiring, who survives in New Bremen.
Also surviving are their children, Brenda and Richard Winner, Maria Stein, Cynthia and Charles Weyant, Greenville, and Charles Perkins, New Bremen; grandchildren, Latisha and Kevin Dakin, Phoenix, Ariz., Ryan and Rachael Winner, Columbus, Richard Winner and Tami Post, Maria Stein, Chelsea Winner, Maria Stein, and Kassondra Weyant, Greenville; great-grandchildren, Oakley Dakin and Julian Winner; siblings, Mildred and Al Borchers, Minster, Dorothy and John Rollegan, Mississippi, Evelyn Hogenkamp, Dayton, Thelma and James Helmig, Dayton, Ted and Barb Enneking, Minster, Kenneth and Kathy Enneking, Dayton, and Mark and Linda Enneking, McCartyville.
He was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen. He was active in the church, including serving as an usher for many years. He was an active member of the former New Bremen Lions Club, the former New Bremen Jaycees, the Woodman of the World and ARC and was a Boy Scout leader of New Bremen Troop 95 for many years. In 2001, he retired from Goodyear in St. Marys after 32 years. He then went on to work at the ABC Center in New Bremen, doing custodial work for another 10 years before retiring again in 2011. He also served in the Army National Guard in the early 1960s.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will follow in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. June 1 at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church, at which time the rosary will be prayed.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
