* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Eugene Langenkamp
Eugene Henry Langenkamp, 79, Yorkshire, passed away at 7 a.m. on April 1, 2014, at Briarwood Manor, Coldwater.
He was born March 12, 1935, in Yorkshire, to Frank and Rose Borchers Langenkamp. On Dec. 22, 1993, he married Connie Burke, who survives.
Also surviving are 10 children, Sharon and Bob Hibner, Coldwater, Joyce and Tony Bornhorst, Fort Loramie, Sandy and Brad Garmann, Minster, David and Jeannie Langenkamp, Caramel, Ind., Phyllis and Chuck Kremer, Minster, Jim and Marci Langenkamp, Russia, Susan Flamm, Troy, Tom and Faith Langenkamp, Springboro, Debra Langenkamp, Silver Spring, Md., and Jill and Tim York, Russia; six siblings, Juanita Brandewie, Marlene Bohman, Norma and Orville Bohman, Barbara and Harold Suchland, Janet and Mike Suchland and Karen and Gary Meyer; two sisters-in-law, Theresa and Marianne Langenkamp; a brother-in-law, Hubert Magoteaux; his first wife, Clara Kite, New Bremen; 35 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Libbie and Dean Penman, Buffalo, N.Y., and Rob and Stacey Byers, Minster; and six step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Werner; two brothers, Paul and Jerry; a sister and her husband, Rosalie and Ralph Wendel; and two brothers-in-law, Gene Brandewie and Fred Bohman.
He was a farmer and established Gene Langenkamp Sales & Service. He was a proud member of the Goat Farmer's in Yorkshire, the Knights of Columbus, Knights of St. John, and the Holy Men's Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Steven Shoup will officiate.
A Celebration of Life luncheon begins at noon Saturday at the Minster Knights of Columbus.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice Care or charity of the donor's choice.

Always the joker, perhaps it is fitting that Gene's departure occurred on April Fools Day, a lasting reminder that he was a man who enjoyed humor and a good laugh.
