Dispatchers learn techniques

Deputies from the Defiance County Sheriff's Office demonstrate Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate program techniques during the 10th Dispatcher In-Service Day on Wednesday at the Mercer County Fairgrounds. The techniques used for a school emergency were among various topics that drew 125 dispatchers from Ohio and Indiana. The annual event is sponsored by Mercer County Sheriff's Office Central Dispatch and the Celina Police Department.
