Ice piles up next to a tree along Harbor Point Drive Thursday afternoon. Warmer weather recently has allowed ice covering Grand Lake to break up and move to the shoreline. Spring has begun, according to the calendar; however, low temperatures in the five-day forecast remain below the freezing mark.
