* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Dale Metzger
Dale L. Metzger, 62, Fort Recovery, died Jan. 5, 2014, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Jan. 31, 1951, in Coldwater, son of Norbert Metzger and the late Rosemary Timmerman. His father, Norbert Metzger, survives in Fort Recovery.
On June 14, 1975, he was married in Fort Recovery to Mary Jo Rammel, who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Lori Metzger, Fort Recovery, and her fiancé, Scott Abels, Fort Recovery; two sons, Aaron Metzger, Fort Recovery, and Troy Metzger, Fort Recovery, and his fiancée, LeAnne Tobin, Fort Recovery; two sisters, Jeanette (Louis) Diller, Fort Recovery, and Sue (Gary) Kuess, Celina; two brothers, Joe (Sharon) Metzger, Fort Recovery, and Chuck (Linda) Metzger, Fort Recovery; two granddaughters, Taylor and Dakota; and in-laws, Bev Newell, Parker, Colo.; Harriet (Jerry) Pearson, Fort Recovery; Beth (L.D.) Nofzinger, Howe, Ind.; Vicki (Tom) Staugler, Fort Recovery; Sharon Collins, Fort Recovery; John (Cheryl) Rammel, Fort Recovery; Rick Kaup, Berne, Ind.; Ruth (Steve) Reichert, Fort Recovery; and Jeff (Terry) Rammel, Celina.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jami Metzger; a grandson, Trevor Huntsman; in-laws, Lisa Kaup, Scott Collins, Richard Newell, and John Kaffenberger and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Jean Rammel.
He was formerly employed at Cooper Farms, Fort Recovery, and also formerly owned and operated Metzger Backhoe and Trenching, Fort Recovery. He was a 1969 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, Fort Recovery, and was inducted into the Fort Recovery Athletic Hall of Fame and was a member of the Fort Recovery Ambassador Club. He also previously served in the Indiana National Guard. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, and was an avid fan of the Fort Recovery Indians. He also enjoyed being with family and their cat "Pumpkin."
A funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery. The Rev. Thomas Dorn will officiate, and burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
