Zeta Prueter
Zeta Marie Prueter, 91, formerly of New Knoxville, died at 12:50 a.m. Dec. 10, 2013, at Elmwood Assisted Living Center, New Bremen.
She was born Dec. 18, 1921, in Wapakoneta, to Homer and Agnes Craft Krieger. On Dec. 8, 1945, she married Orville A. Prueter, who died March 5, 1995.
Surviving are twin daughters, Joyce (Dale) Hibner, Fairfield Glades, Tenn., and Joan (Jan) Fark, New Bremen; four grandchildren, Chad (Tess) Elshoff, Todd (Angie) Elshoff, Greg Elshoff and Eric (Amber) Hibner; three stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Otto Glass, Clearwater, Fla., and John (Rosemary) Prueter, Plymouth, Mich.; and a sister-in-law, Henrietta Phillips, Daytona Beach, Fla.
Deceased is a sister, Mary Glass.
She was a graduate of Blume High School, Wapakoneta. She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling. She and her husband were members of the National Travel Club, Carriage and Royal Travel Club and Miami Valley Travel Club. She liked to sew and belonged to a women's card club with 13 of her friends for many years. She enjoyed the last three years of her life at Elmwood, where she made many friends with the residents and staff. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
