Great day for a walk with nature
Photo by Amy Kronenberger/The Daily Standard

Hikers learn about pioneer life on Sunday during the 44th Annual Walk With Nature along the Miami & Erie Canal Towpath in St. Marys. Pioneer re-enactors showed what life was like in Girty's Town - the former name for the city of St. Marys. The hike began in Memorial Park and continued north on the towpath three miles to 40-Acre Pond. A fall festival with food, entertainment and crafts was held in the park.
