Dorothy Schroyer
Dorothy K. Schroyer, 92, of Celina, died at 6:35 a.m. Oct. 14, 2013, at Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
She was born June 27, 1921, in Celina, to Henry and Caroline Buckloh Rasawehr. On July 3, 1943, she married Carl Schroyer, who died June 9, 1997.
Surviving are two daughters, Elaine (Dennis) Fett and Nancy (Rick) Adams, all of Celina; three grandchildren, Patricia "Patty" (Ken) Sutter, Celina, Mark Fett, Celina, and Greg (Jenny) Fett, Springboro; five great-grandchildren, Denise (Kenneth) Kline, Andy and Eric Ballinger, and Ethan and Owen Fett; and three great-great-grandchildren, Gavin and Elliot Kuhn and Kenrich Kline.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Paul and Herbert Rasawehr, and three sisters, Emma Fast, Hulda Rasawehr and Ruth Buck.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Coldwater, and a 1939 graduate of Celina High School. She was a housewife on the "Valley View" family farm and cherished her family, the farm and her grandchildren. She loved to fish and play cards.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Sharon Stonerock officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery in Wabash.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
