* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Catherine Franke
Catherine M. Franke, 65, Celina, formerly of Fort Recovery, died Oct. 12, 2013, from injuries received in a traffic accident in rural Darke County.
She was born March 2, 1948, in Toledo, to John and Ruth Brahm Berry. On May 12, 1973, she married Steve Franke, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Steve A. Franke of Columbus; a daughter, Julie (Nathan) Cline of Marysville; a brother, John Berry of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a sister, Sarah (Robert) Potts of Alexandria, Va.; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Richard Smith of Commerce, Mich.; and four grandchildren, Sophia, Shepard, Daphne and Bode.
A graduate of Bowling Green High School and Bowling Green State University, she retired as tax administrator for the village of Fort Recovery. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Recovery, and the Fort Recovery Fire Department Auxiliary.
She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Services are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, the Revs. Sharon Stonerock and Verl Ballmer officiating.
Calling is 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Franke Historical Walkway Fund in care of the Fort Recovery Community Foundation.
