Oktoberfest weekend loads of fun

The 39th annual Minster Oktoberfest proceeds with Bavarian food and royalty despite weekend rain showers. Minster-Jackson Township firefighters Mark Bensman, Eric Bergman and Scott Gusching grill brats and metts for hungry visitors. Large crowds were reported Friday night and Saturday. Rain dissipated following Sunday's 10K run, allowing people to view the 2 p.m. parade without umbrellas.
